Cibeles, Puerta del Sol, Retiro Park and Atocha are all around a 10-minute walk away. SHORT-TERM RENTAL Primarily available while I’m away during September and October, with a minimum stay of two weeks. ❤️ For travelers who want to actually live Madrid Barrio de las Letras is one of the city’s most atmospheric neighborhoods — historic, lively and full of character, with a wonderful mix of old Madrid charm and contemporary city life. It’s an especially lovely area to explore on foot, with museums, independent shops, terraces and some of central Madrid’s prettiest streets right outside the door.
❤️ For serious food lovers There are four Michelin restaurants within 100 meters of the apartment. Mercado de Antón Martín, one of the most authentic local markets in central Madrid, is around a 10-minute walk away. Right downstairs and throughout the surrounding streets, you’ll find traditional Spanish taverns, modern cafés, hidden tapas bars and excellent little wine bars. You could easily spend weeks eating your way around the neighborhood without running out of places to discover.
