This is not a room in a shared flat. It is a purpose-built student residence with 34 places, managed directly by us — no agency, no middleman.
THE ROOM
Single rooms on the first and second floors, with bed and mattress, bedside table, desk, two-door wardrobe, full-length mirror and mini fridge, meeting Italian ministerial standards for university residences. Access to your block is by personal numeric keypad code — no keys to lose and no spare copies in circulation. The bathroom is shared with one other room only and is reached through a private hallway: it is not a corridor bathroom. The building has a lift and is fully step-free, with two rooms adapted for wheelchair users. Shared double rooms also available.

THE SHARED KITCHEN
A single bright double-height space on the ground floor where the kitchen and the dining area sit side by side: four hobs, four ovens, four microwaves and four sinks, generous worktops and long communal tables. Every resident is assigned a personal locker for their own food and belongings. It is sized so that more than half the residents can cook at the same time — everyone fits in two sittings. This is where people actually meet, not a kitchenette.
All utilities are included: electricity, heating, water, building charges, waste tax, cleaning of common areas and Wi-Fi. No extra bills, no year-end adjustments.
LOCATION
Via Rodolfo Morandi 4, Grugliasco (TO), in the Lesna district, 350 m from the Turin city boundary: in practice, you live in Turin.
Buses. Line 44 stops 240 m from the door, line 56 at 350 m, lines 17 and 55 run along Corso Allamano, 550–650 m away.
Grugliasco University Campus (Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, DISAFA, Veterinary Teaching Hospital, AGROVET Library): 2.9 km, about 15 minutes by bike on the local cycle paths, with covered bike racks in the courtyard. Lines 17 and 44 also serve the Campus.
Politecnico di Torino, main site in Corso Duca degli Abruzzi: 3.5 km, roughly 20 minutes by bike, largely on cycle lanes. Alternatively, Grugliasco SFM3 station reaches Torino Porta Susa in about ten minutes, and the main Politecnico building is a short walk from there. The DAD-DIST departments in Viale Mattioli are 5.2 km away.
School of Management and Economics, Corso Unione Sovietica: 2.9 km.
Also nearby: the Le Gru shopping centre and Parco Ruffini, both a few minutes on foot, a Decathlon store 50 m away, and free public parking in front of the building.

One-off final cleaning on departure: €35
Contracts run for 12 months, September to August. A one-semester option is available: €600/month for a single room, €438.50/month for a place in a double.
WHO CAN APPLY
Students enrolled, or about to enrol, at an Italian university. Academic requirements are modest: if you are already enrolled, 30% of the previous year's credits and a 20/30 grade average. International students need a B1 certificate in Italian or English. Full details: (hidden)
