Sydhavnen is a neighbourhood just south of the city centre that mixes nature, an architectural boom and authentic harbour-side living. This former fishing area is experiencing an architectural boom and should be your go-to place for waterside experiences. Many buildings in Sydhavnen are directly on the water and the streets are set up around many different canals that are connected, giving you the feeling you are in the modern version of Venice. Renting a stand-up paddleboard or a canoe and sailing the canals is a popular activity in Sluseholmen. There is also a harbour bath including a sauna during the winter months. In the last years, Sydhavnen has become booming and new cafes and restaurants have popped up, making it practically unnecessary to leave the area.

Go for a swim in front of your building ! The apartment is located on the beautiful Teglholmen island in the area of Sydhavn, surrounded by water on two sides.
Just outside your door and in the same building, you'll find a cosy bakery: 'Mille's Mini's' with arguably the best cafe latte in town and many fine homemade cookies pastries - yummi!
Go for a walk, take a run along the water or ride on your paddle board in the harbour.
Specially in summer, the water is a popular place and perfect for a refreshing dive. From the apartment it's a 5-7 minute bike ride to Vesterbro and the popular meatpacking district and 10 minutes to the Central station.
