We are renting out our fully furnished 3-room apartment in Alt-Stralau from December 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027, as we will be abroad during this time.

The 84 m2 apartment offers plenty of space and combines an exceptionally quiet, green location by the water with Friedrichshain’s excellent public transportation connections. It is located on the first floor of a modern new building constructed in 2015 and feels bright and spacious thanks to 2.90 m high ceilings, large windows, and an open floor plan.

The heart of the apartment is the large open living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and direct access to the terrace and garden. In total, there is a 22 m2 terrace and an approximately 40 m2 private garden.

The apartment has two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a large 2 × 2 m floor bed as well as an additional children’s bed (70 × 140 cm). The second room is currently set up as a comfortable home office but can also be used as a guest room. For remote work, there are two computer workstations and a fast 1 Gbit/s fiber-optic connection.

Another plus is the two bathrooms: a large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate guest bathroom with a large shower.

The residential complex also features a large landscaped courtyard with a playground, accessible exclusively to residents.

There are bicycle parking spaces both in front of the building and in the underground parking garage.

Location:

Alt-Stralau is a quiet, green peninsula between the Spree River and Rummelsburger Bay and is part of the Friedrichshain district. Walking and biking paths along the water start practically right outside the front door.

The Glasbläserallee bus stop is about a three-minute walk away; Ostkreuz can be reached in one bus stop or in about ten minutes on foot. From there, there are excellent S-Bahn, regional train, and bus connections to all parts of Berlin.

An EDEKA supermarket is just a 2-minute walk away. Around Ostkreuz and the neighboring Friedrichshain neighborhoods / Boxhagener Platz, there are numerous other shopping options, drugstores, cafés, restaurants, and stores.
